Anti Condy Rice Protests, 3 Iraqi Civilians Killed by US Helicopter, Soldier Killed, 8 Injured by Roadside Bomb, Casualties in Attack on US Forces - Yaqen.net reported the following news: Iraqi police sources announced that a US helicopter fired at an Iraqi civilian car killing three civilians inside it, on the road between al-Huwaija and Kirkuk, southwest of Kirkuk. Readers are advised to see the difference in reporting between Yaqen.net and Voices of Iraq (below). While Yaqen.net mentioned that it was a US helicopter, Voice of Iraq reported it was an unknown helicopter! - A US Hummer military vehicle was destroyed in Al-Hassa area of Amiriyat Al-Falloujah in an attack by Jaish Al-Muslimeen fighters. The statement mentioned that the attack occurred on Thursday morning and led to killing all US soldiers in the vehicle. INA reported with photos on demonstrations protesting the visit of Condy Rice to Iraq, which aimed at finalizing an Iraqi-US agreement that allows US forces to stay in Iraq without a timetable of withdrawal, and protects US soldiers from legal responsibility of their actions against Iraqis.
