McCain Promises to be Hamas's Worst Nightmare, Outbidding Hillary's Threat to Wipe Iran Off the Map Hamas: McCain's statement proves no hope in American foreign policy change [ 26/04/2008 - 04:30 PM ] GAZA, (PIC)-- The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, said on Saturday that the American republican party's presidential nominee John McCain's statement that if elected he would be "Hamas's worst nightmare" was a clear proof of the strength of Hamas. Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, one of Hamas's spokesmen in Gaza, said in a press release that the statements prove that all the incumbent and future American administrations were taking Hamas into account. The name of Hamas has become a major part of the American presidential candidates' campaigns, he noted. The spokesman further noted that the statement proves that there was no hope in any change in the American foreign policy, and that all candidates were absolutely backing the Israeli occupation at the expense of Arab and Palestinian rights in addition to constantly provoking against resistance. News Commentary: By Hassan El-Najjar The Israeli auction for US presidential candidates is now opened big. The candidates are expected to show the highest degree of loyalty and allegiance to Israel in order to be allowed to continue in their bidding for votes without being interrupted by the Zionist mass media. John McCain has just promised to be Hamas's worst nightmare if elected, thus outbidding Hillary's threat to wipe Iran off the map. The fact that an American presidential candidate, like McCain, wants to be the nightmare of the starved population of Gaza Strip adds another piece evidence to the slavish status of US politicians when it comes to Israel. This statement is aimed at outbidding his Democratic rival, Hillary Clinton, who announced at the eve of Pennsylvania primaries to wipe Iran off the map, in order to earn votes of supporters of the Israeli occupation, racist government. How do you wipe a country off the world map, Hillary? Nuclear attack to kill all Iranians? Why? What did the Iranian people do to you to contemplate wiping them off the map? The Israeli blockade, siege, and closure of Gaza Strip is hurting the Palestinian people, men, women, children, and elderly. To claim that it is aimed at Hamas leaders is a lie and deception. It is a collective punishment of the Palestinian people to force them to surrender and accept the Israeli theft of their lands. What did the Palestinian people, including Hamas members, do to McCain or the United States in order to be starved and threatened of more nightmarish McCainian measures? Such statements from Hillary Clinton and John McCain demonstrate to the American people that these politicians are Israel-firsters, who are only thinking about Israel, not the United States. They have no intention to be honest peace brokers between Palestinians and Israelis. Rather, they cater for the Israeli settler, war mongering factions of the Israeli government. While they may earn the votes of war mongers, Clinton and McCain are neither earning respect for themselves nor serving the true American national interests, which contradict with the Israeli expansionist, aggressive, and racist policies.
