Israeli occupation forces raid Qabatiya, attack Muslims during prayers, destroy farm in Rafah, occupy family home near Salfit Israeli occupation forces raid Qabatiya, attack Muslims during prayers Date: 23 / 09 / 2007 Time: 11:32 Jenin – Ma'an – Israeli occupation forces raided the West Bank town of Qabatiya, near Jenin, on Sunday. Eyewitnesses said eight Israeli military vehicles invaded Qabatiya's old city. Israeli soldiers occupied rooftops and roamed the streets. The incursion came after an explosive device was reportedly thrown at an Israeli military patrol near the town. Israeli forces blocked the street, held up passing vehicles and searched the residents of the area. In a separate incident in the Al-Far'a valley in the northern West Bank Israeli soldiers threw tear gas canisters into the Al-Isra mosque during the evening prayer. Israeli occupation forces destroy farm in Rafah, during Gaza incursion Date: 23 / 09 / 2007 Time: 11:59 Gaza – Ma'an – Israeli occupation tanks and bulldozers destroyed a Palestinian while invaded the Shuka neighborhood of the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah Sunday morning. Palestinian resident, Samir Al-Masri told Ma'an that his farm has been flattened. Fifty farm workers have been left unemployed. Al-Masri's son stated that the Israeli occupation soldiers forced their way through the farm's houses. Israeli occupation soldiers occupy family home near Salfit Date: 23 / 09 / 2007 Time: 14:55 Nablus – Ma'an – Approximately 50 Israeli troops occupied a residential building in the West Bank town of Marda, near Salfit early Sunday morning, using the home as a makeshift watchtower. Local residents said the soldiers stormed the house at dawn, forcing the family of six to crowd into one room and remain there. After a confrontation between with the residents of the neighborhood, the soldiers were forced to withdraw from the area. The soldiers used sound bombs to disperse the Palestinians who approached them.
