54 Palestinians Kidnapped by Israeli Occupation Forces, Including 49 in Al-Ain Refugee Camp and Palestinian Leader Mustafa Al-Barghouthi

Palestinian kidnapped in Qalqiliya

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a Palestinian man in the early hours of Friday morning in the West Bank town of Qalqiliya.

Israeli forces burst in to the home of Ali Mazooz Abd Al-Rahim Daoud and searched it before arresting him.

Palestinian security sources said that a number of military vehicles invaded the city at dawn, entering a number of neighbourhoods and carrying out house to house searches.

PNI leader, Barghouthi, abducted trying to get to Friday Prayers in Jerusalem

Israeli occupation police abducted the Palestinian Member of Parliament and leader of the Palestinian National Initiative (PNI), Mustafa Al-Barghouthi on Friday morning on his way to Jerusalem for Friday prayers.

He was abducted at the Al-Dhahiya checkpoint in the north of Jerusalem after he got out of his car

Mustafa Al-Barghouthi was the main rival of President Abbas in the 2006 Palestinian presidential election.

Israeli occupation forces pull out of Al-Ain Camp, kidnap 49

Hebrew sources said on Friday that the Israeli occupation forces have finished their three-day operation in the Al-'Ain refugee camp, east of Nablus.

The sources also said that during the operation the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 49 Palestinians and have taken them to an interrogation centre.

The Israeli operation in the Al-'Ain camp resulted in the death of two Palestinians and a number of others injured, in addition to the demolition of a number of houses.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestinian director of foreign commerce

Nablus – Ma'an – 

Israeli occupation forces arrested the director of foreign commerce in Ramallah's chamber of commerce, on Thursday.

Salah Hussain's wife told Ma'an that Israeli occupation forces stormed her home at 2am and apprehended her husband.

Salah had been released from an Israeli jail 6 months ago but his brother, Abu Ahmed, is still in an Israeli occupation prison.

The Nafha association for defending prisoners' rights considers the Israeli apprehension campaign in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip to be a declaration of war on the entire Palestinian people.

Israeli military operation in Nablus ends; 49 Palestinians abducted

The Israeli occupation army on Friday declared an end to the military operation in el-Ein refugee camp in Nablus after three consecutive days of attack.

The Israeli occupation army reported that they kidnapped 49 Palestinians, claiming each were on Israel’s so-called “wanted list.”

Local residents reported that military vehicles withdrew from the camp in the early hours of Friday morning, leaving the area through the Beit Iba and Huwara checkpoints.

The operation caused huge damage in the area, and led to the murder of two Palestinian civilians, among them one disabled man.

A senior leader of the al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, identified as Nihad Shqerat, was kidnapped during the three days of siege.

During three days of fighting, one Israeli soldier was killed by Palestinian Resistance Fighters.

Elsewhere, the Israeli occupation army kidnapped two senior leaders of the al-Aqsa brigades, the armed wing of Fatah, both of whom had been on Israel’s so-called amnesty list. The two men were released several hours later.
