In Iraq, 44 Killed, Including 11 Executed by Death Squads, in a September 14, 2007 Report

 

The Iraq News Agency (INA) reported the following news in its September 13, 2007 war news report.

-  7 Iraqi policemen killed in a suicide car bomb attack on their checkpoint at the entrance of Hajjaj village, near Biji.

- Former Iraqi General, Rashid Sinjar, was assassinated in Mosul.

- 11 bodies of Iraqis executed by death squads were found in Baghdad.

Sotaliraq newspaper reported the following news for today.

- Three Iraqis were killed by security forces in Al-Adhim area, in Dayala.

- 3 security guards were killed by gunmen in Al-Suwairah.

- 8 Iraqis were killed, 21 were injured by US-led forces, and three US soldiers were injured in clashes in various areas.

- 3 security guards were killed in Al-Shujairiyah, Khalis.

- 10 people were killed in a suicide tanker in Biji, targeting a checkpoint.

- A policeman was killed, two were injured in Falloujah.

- A civilian was killed in Najaf.

- A police colonel was assassinated in front of his home in Kirkuk.

- 2 security guards were killed in Hillah.

The US news agency, Associated Press, reported no news about the Iraq war today.
