Crude oil closes at all-time high of $93.53 per barrel in New York

NEW YORK, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- 

U.S. light, sweet crude rose for a fourth day and closed at a record high of 93.53 dollars a barrelon New York Mercantile Exchange on Monday.

The price rallied after bad weather forced Mexico to briefly halt one-fifth of its oil production, and the dollar touched the lowest level against the euro in more than eight years, analysts said.

The December crude oil futures reached a new intraday high of 93.80 dollars earlier.
