Crude oil futures close at record high of $91.86 per barrel www.chinaview.cn 2007-10-27 03:59:01 Print NEW YORK, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- Crude-oil futures closed at a new record on Friday, as worries over energy supplies and tensions in the Middle East propelled the market to a new peak. Crude oil for December delivery climbed 1.40 U.S. dollars to end at 91.86 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Earlier Friday, the contract rose to a new record intraday high of 92.22 dollars a barrel in electronic trading. Crude recorded a gain of 4.91 dollars in the week from last Friday's closing level of 86.95 dollars. Editor: Yan Liang
