Israeli Occupation Forces Terrorize Palestinian Cities, Injuring 3, Kidnapping 8 Palestinians, Including Walid Al-Hodali

IOF troops invade eastern Rafah, wound two Palestinians and kidnap a third

RAFAH, (PIC)--

Two Palestinians were wounded, Friday morning, during an Israeli occupation forces (IOF) incursion to the east of the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah, a third man was kidnapped by the invading forces.

Local sources informed the PIC correspondent that five IOF tanks accompanied by military Humers, Friday morning, made a surprise raid of the Jaradat neighbourhood south east of Rafah under a cover of heavy machinegun fire.

The sources added that the Israeli fire resulted in the wounding of two citizens who were transferred to Abu Yousuf al-Najjar Hospital where they are being treated for medium wounds.

The sources said the IOF troops launched their surprise attack through the Karm Abu Salem crossing which lies at the borders between Gaza, Egypt and 1948-occupied Palestinian lands. The occupation forces raided the Jaradat neighbourhood, 2Km west of the crossing.

Local residents said the IOF troops raided the home of Abu Shusha family and took away their thirty-year-old son Jihad Abu Shusha.

Residents also said that the occupation forces' operation lasted for half an hour randomly firing at Palestinian homes and farms. After that the forces withdrew east to take position around the Gaza international airport.

The sources also said that Israeli military bulldozers built sand barriers east of the airport turning the area east of the airport into a fortified military post, one of the tanks mounted a sand hill and carried on firing towards Palestinian homes.

The residents of the Jaradat neighbourhood and the village of Shawka expressed worry at these manoeuvres of the IOF troops fearing it might be a prelude for a new Zionist aggression. Israeli drones were heard at various times in the skies of eastern and central Rafah district.

Al-Qassam Brigades fire at an occupation navy boat opposite Rafah

RAFAH, (PIC)-- 

Al-Qassam Brigades fighters, on Thursday, opened machinegun fire at an Israeli occupation navy boat opposite the Rafah coast in the southern Gaza Strip forcing it pull back.

Eyewitnesses told PIC correspondent that a group of Qassam Brigades fighters opened heavy machinegun fire at the Israeli occupation navy vessel off the Rafah coast forcing the vessel to retreat outside the range of the Qassam fire.

The Israeli army radio confirmed that one of their navy boats came under fire off the Rafah coast, but claimed that the source of fire was a fishing boat.

Palestinian sources however denied that a fishing boat was used in the attack and confirmed that the attack was mounted from the shore.

This is the second time an Israeli occupation navy vessel comes under the resistance fire when it tries to approach the Gaza coast.

Israeli media talked on several occasions that Hamas has started using new American supplied arms seized from the defeated mutineers of the PA security forces last June.

3 Palestinians kidnapped near Ramallah

Bethlehem – Ma'an – 

At dawn on Friday Israeli occupation forces kidnapped three Palestinian citizens in Beituniya and Qibya, near Ramallah in the West Bank.

Israeli radio announced that "the men were (kidnapped) in a general security operation and were taken for investigation."

Israeli occupation forces abduct Palestinian in Gaza

Rafah – Ma'an – 

Palestinian sources said on Friday that special Israeli occupation forces burst into the home of Palestinian citizen, Jihad Abu Shawasha in the Jaradat neighbourhood, south east of the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli occupation forces invaded the area at 6.30am and abducted Abu Shawasha, taking him to an unknown destination. Abu Shawasha's political affiliation is still unknown.

The Palestinian resistance said they clashed with the Israeli special forces. One of the resistance members was injured before the withdrawal of the Israeli forces.

Israeli occupation forces kidnap Palestinian author

Ramallah – Ma'an – 

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped the Palestinian author and former prisoner Walid Al-Hodali from Ramallah in the central West Bank on Thursday.

Hodali had served 12 years in an Israeli jail, and his wife, Itaf, has been in administrative detention for two years.

He was first summoned to the Ofer detention centre for interrogation and was then detained.

Hodali has published seven books, mainly about life in Israeli prisons.

Israeli aggression raid on Rafah ; one Palestinian kidnapped, another injured

In the early hours of Friday morning, according to Palestinian sources, special forces of the Israeli army (death squads) invaded house in the Al-Jaradat neighborhood of Rafah in the southern part of the Gaza.

The sources report that the special forces invaded the home of Jihad Abu Shousha. They then kidnapped him and took him to an unidentified unknown detention center.

Meanwhile, a group of Palestinian resistance fighters say they clashed with the Israeli occupation forces and one of the group was wounded in an exchange of gunfire. The Israelis then withdrew from the area.

Israeli occupation army kidnaps three Palestinians in the West Bank

The Israeli occupation army conducted wide-ranging military operations in several parts of the West Bank in the early hours of Friday morning.

In the southern West Bank city of Hebron the army kidnapped 3 Palestinians.

Security sources report that an Israeli force kidnapped the Palestinians after invading their homes, searching them and forcing residents out on to the street.

The abducted men were named as Radwan Al-Heresh, Haytham Al-Heremy, Abedul Qader Abu Sorour. They were taken to an unidentified detention center.

In another part of the West Bank, the Israelis abducted a Palestinian man, Basel Al-Afandy, from Bethlehem.

Security sources reported that Israeli occupation forces besieged his house and ransacked it before abducting him. Al-Afandy has been taken to an unidentified detention center.

In the northern part of the West Bank, Israeli occupation soldiers invaded the city of Nablus and the nearby Balata refugee camp.

Security sources report that scores of Israeli vehicles invaded the city and the camp from several directions and opened fire randomly. Troops patrolled several parts of the area but no abductions have been reported.

Terrified residents have spoken of the fear caused by the invasion because of its speed and the random nature of the attack. Local people say that the army may be planning a wide-scale operation against Palestinians on their wanted list.

Nablus woman in serious condition after being injured by army fire two days ago

Palestinian medical sources in Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, reported on Thursday that the condition of Rania Al-Shakh-sheer, who was shot and injured by army gunfire two days ago, is still in a critical condition, and that she underwent five military operations so far.

The woman was admitted to Al-Ittihad hospital in the city after she was injured. Physicians at the hospital stated that they might need to transfer her to an Israeli hospital but this procedure may also endanger her life since she is hooked to life-support machines.

Medical sources reported that Al-Shakh-sheer needs additional blood units and called on the residents to donate blood type (O+); she needs at least 15 units.

The sources added that the woman was hit by rounds of live ammunition in her heart, lung, intestines, stomach, and spleen.

Rania was in her bedroom on Tuesday afternoon when she was shot and injured by army fire, soldiers then obstructed several residents who rushed to save her, but later on the residents managed to transfer her to a nearby hospital.
