Israeli occupation forces shoot Palestinian cameraman in Nablus

Ala' Badarna, a Palestinian cameraman from the northern West Bank city of Nablus was shot in the back with rubber–coated bullets when the Israeli army invaded the area on Tuesday.

Badarna, who had been arguing with an Israeli occupation soldier to about his right as a journalist to cover the invasion, was deliberately targeted later by the same soldier and was shot at close range. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

According to Badarna, the soldier had refused to let him into the area affected by the invasion and ordered him to stop filming. When he tried to assert his rights, the soldier opened fire at him.

Badarna, who is employed by the European Media Agency, has now been shot three times whilst he has been carrying out his duties as a journalist in Palestine.

Israeli occupation forces injure Palestinians in Hebron and Tulkarem

Security sources in the southern West Bank city of Hebron report that Israeli occupain soldiers opened fire in Al Arob refugee camp on Wednesday. A Palestinian man was injured.

Jameel Khamees, aged 30, received injuries to his hand when an Israeli army patrol in the camp shot him.

The injured man was taken to hospital for surgery to his wounds.

In related news, the Israeli occupation forces injured a Palestinian in the town of Anabta town in northern Tulkarem on Tuesday night when they attacked the area.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli occupation forces opened fire on a group of young Palestinians. Anas Abu Asal,16, was slightly injured in the attack and was taken to hospital.

At least 25 Palestinians abducted in the West Bank and Gaza Strip

In a number of attacks in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation forces abducted 25 Palestinians in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

At least three Palestinians were abducted from the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia. Security sources say that the army carried out a military operation in several parts of the city, claiming they were searching for wanted Palestinians.

Israeli occupation forces searched homes under the supervision of Israeli intelligence and abducted, Qasem Al Sawy, Mahmoud Al Je'edi, Imad Hotary.

Qalqilia has witnessed successive Israeli attacks and abductions over the last four days.

In the southern part of West Bank, the Israeli occupation forces abducted a Palestinian from the town of Al-Obaidiah, near Bethlehem.

Security sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces invaded the town, besieged houses and abducted Mahmoud Rabay'ah, 32. Rabay'ah was handcuffed and taken to an unidentified detention center.

In the central part of the West Bank, the military kidnapped a Palestinian from Qadoura refugee camp near Ramallah.

Security sources reported that at least 15 military vehicles invaded the camp and besieged a house. A Palestinian man, Khaled Nakhlah, was abducted and taken to an unidentified detention center.

The Ramallah area has been subjected to a series of attacks during the past few weeks.

In related news, the Gaza Strip witnessed a huge military raid and at least 20 Palestinians were abducted by the Israel army.

Israeli occupation forces are currently involved in an extensive military operation in the Al-Faraheen area. Three Palestinians have been injured, one of whom has since died of his wounds. At least 20 Palestinians have so far been abducted. No further information is available at the moment as Palestinian sources are unable to cover the incident.

16-year-old boy injured near Tulkarem

Tulkarem – Ma'an – 

A sixteen-year-old Palestinian boy was moderately injured on Tuesday when Israeli occupation soldiers fired at him in the northern West Bank town of Anabta east of Tulkarem, Ma'an's reporter said.

Anas Abu Al-Asal was shot in the foot after clashes erupted between Israeli troops and young Palestinian men in the town.

Israeli occupation forces fire rubber bullets and tear gas at families in Marda

Nablus – Ma'an – Israeli forces on Wednesday morning invaded the northern West Bank town of Marda in the district of Salfit district leaving four people injured and several houses demolished.

Head of the local council of Marda, Sudqi Al-Khafash told Ma'an that the Israeli forces invaded the village on the pretext of being pelted with stones.

They fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at the residents and took control of a four-storey house looting it and firing sonic bombs inside to force the families to evacuate.

Israeli occupation forces search Jenin for Islamic Jihad activist

Jenin – Ma'an – 

Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday stormed Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank discharging gunfire and sonic bombs, Palestinian sources told Ma'an.

Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occupation forces ransacked the home of an activist from the Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades, Ahmed Khafif whom the Israelis has been chasing since the beginning of Al-Aqsa uprising.

They also broke into the homes of Khafif's sisters searching for him destroying the home's contents.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces invaded the town of Dir Abu Da'if, east of Jenin, and conducted house to house searches.

Local residents told Ma'an's reporter that the invading Israeli forces demolished a house.

The Israeli occupation forces then withdrew without any arrests or injuries being reported.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinian farmers

The Ma'an news agency reported on Wednesday that illegal Israeli settlers have attacked Palestinian farmers near the northern West Bank city of Nablus.

According to Palestinian sources, settlers blocked the way of farmers in several locations in the district of Nablus, as they tried to reach the olive groves and harvest their crops.

It was reported by one farmer, from the town of Awarta, that settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Eytamar threw stones at Palestinian families as they gathered olives from their fields. The Israeli occupation army intervened when Palestinians started to throw stones in return.

Another farmer in the town of Azmut said that illegal Israeli settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Alon Moreh, east of Nablus, had attacked farmers and that clashes had broken out near the town of Salem.
