Zahar says security documents seized by Hamas fighters reveal stunning facts

[ 26/06/2007 - 10:39 AM ]

GAZA, (PIC)--

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahar, the senior political leader of Hamas Movement in Gaza Strip, has revealed that security documents seized by Hamas fighters from the PA security apparatuses revealed serious and stunning facts.

“After we study and analyze the security documents we have seized from the PA security apparatuses, you will know amazing and unbelievable matters”, said Zahar as he addressed Palestinian masses east of Gaza city on Monday.

According to Zahar, Hamas fighters discovered 50 booby-trapped vehicles in the PA intelligence headquarters in Gaza ready for detonation, affirming that explosives experts in the Qassam Brigades succeeded in defusing those explosives.

He also unveiled the unearthing of mass graves and weapons storages inside the infamous PA preventive security apparatus, in addition to serious documents implicating PA security heads and Fateh high-ranking officials in shocking ethical scandals.

“They were protecting drug and gun dealers and sanctioned violent acts by Fatah hooligans in Gaza streets among other shameful scandals”, the Hamas official affirmed.

He underlined that Hamas didn’t plan to enter the Muntada (Abbas’s headquarters in Gaza city), but he explained that Hamas fighters rushed to the building to secure it from outraged Palestinian citizens.

The Muntada was badly used by PA security departments that turned it into a place for torture and murder.

Moreover, Zahar stressed that what had happened in Gaza wasn’t Hamas-Fateh clashes as the mutiny trend within Fatah wants to portray, but, he explained, it was a battle between the Palestinian people on the one hand, and the mischievous trend on the other hand.

Zahar also emphasized, “Hamas has nothing against Fatah, and I believe that what had happened in Gaza Strip had benefited Fatah leadership in the first place after the mutiny trend within it was routed and exposed before the public”.

Yet, he warned remnants of the disgraced mutiny trend leader and financier Mohammed Dahlan who remained in Gaza Strip of attempting to disrupt the prevailing peace and order condition in the Strip.

“We will deal with any one listening to Dahlan and attempting to disrupt security and stability in Gaza in accordance with the law as we will not tolerate any move in this regard”, Zahar pointed out.
