RAFAH, (PIC)-- 

The IOF troops stormed at midnight Monday the Karam Abu Muammar area northwest of Rafah in southern Gaza, eyewitness reported.

The residents confirmed that the IOF troops reinforced by tanks and bulldozers advanced one kilometer into the area and launched a campaign of raids on houses and bulldozed agricultural lands.

Lately, the IOF troops have intensified its incursions in that same area carrying out many home raids and kidnappings.

Meanwhile, an IOF spokesman told the Hebrew radio that 6 Palestinians allegedly affiliated with Hamas and Islamic Jihad Movements were rounded up overnight Monday and early Tuesday from a number of West Bank cities and villages.

Israeli occupation forces advance into Nablus, resistance fires at Sderot

NABLUS, (PIC)-- 

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) troops in armored vehicles Monday night stormed Nablus city and nearby Balata refugee camp, broke into many civilian homes but failed to arrest any of alleged wanted Palestinian activists.

Local sources said that the Israeli soldiers fired sonic bombs and live bullets during the incursion.

Other IOF units advanced into the village of Til, south of Nablus, and ransacked a number of houses also searching for wanted operatives.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, on Tuesday morning fired two missiles at the Sderot settlement in the western Negev.

Israeli sources acknowledged that one of those missiles caused big material damage.

The same armed wing also took the credit for firing three mortar shells at the Mintar (Kissufim) crossing east of Gaza city on Tuesday, and said the attacks were a preliminary response to the IOF assassination and detention policy against Palestinians the latest being the murder of Hussam Harb one of the Brigades' field commanders in the Strip.
