Palestinian transport minister, Mashhour Abu Duqqa, fails his driving test Date: 24 / 06 / 2007 Time: 09:02 Bethlehem - Ma'an - The Palestinian minister of transportation in the emergency government, Mashhour Abu Duqqa, failed on Saturday his driving test. The minister has a British driving license that he obtained in 1982. In a telephone call with Ma'an, the minister said, "I've had a British driving license since 1982. I wanted to get a Palestinian equivalent license, and when I went for the test, a female examiner tested my driving and then ruled that I had failed without knowing my identity." The minister admitted that he made mistakes during the test which caused his failure. He told Ma'an that he asked the people accompanying him not to reveal his identity so as to avoid influencing the tester.
