Israeli settlers incinerate vast areas of Palestinian agricultural land

Bethlehem – Ma'an – 

A group of illegal  Israeli settlers set a large Palestinian agricultural area ablaze on Friday, in Teqoa', east of Bethlehem.

The local council of Teqoa' announced that vast damage resulted from the fires, especially to sheep farms and olive trees.

The total area destroyed is estimated to be 300 dunams (300,000mē). Around 400 15-year-old olive trees were reduced to ashes in the blaze.

Nablus – Salfit - Ma'an - 

Israeli settlers near the northern West Bank town of Salfit removed over 300 olive trees belonging to Palestinian farmers on Friday, replanting them in the land surrounding their settlement.

The Ami Ad colony was established in 1998 and had been inhabited by families from Russia and Brazil.
