Israeli occupation army kills two Palestinians during West Bank incursion

The Israeli occupation army killed two Palestinian men on Wednesday at dawn during violent clashes in the West Bank village of Kafr Dan.

One of the men was a leader from the Abu Ammar Brigades, a military wing affiliated to Fateh, and the other was a leader from the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad.

Citing eyewitnesses, our correspondent in Jenin reported that more than 30 Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the village of Kafr Dan, located west of Jenin in the northern West Bank, shortly before midnight on Tuesday. The invading Israeli soldiers met with Palestinian armed resistance in the village and heavy clashes raged until approximately 5am.

The leader of the Abu Ammar Brigades in Jenin, Ibrahim Al-Abid, 33, and a leader in the Al-Quds Brigades in Jenin, Ziyad Balaisha, 30, were killed during the clashes.

According to the eyewitnesses, the two men were besieged in a house on the edge of the village of Kafr Dan. The Israeli occupation soldiers fired grenades and intense gunfire at the house. Balaisha died as a result of severe burns and Al-Abid died from gunshot wounds all over his body.
