Israeli and American air forces conduct military exercises in southern Israel

Israeli and American air forces on Sunday began a series of joint tactical military exercises, which are to last for one week, in southern Israel.

Israeli radio reported that the manoeuvres (exercises) will be carried out in the skies of southern Israel on Sunday and will last for one week, adding that dozens of warplanes will participate in the exercises.

The radio station said that the pilots will be trained to face a range of scenarios and that the manoeuvres will conclude with joint study sessions to address what was gained from the training.

Israeli sources said that these manoeuvres are conducted every year and have nothing to do with the current developments in the region.
