Member of PLO-EC, Tayseer Khaled, condemns Arab and international silence on Israeli crimes

Member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Tayseer Khaled, on Friday denounced what he described as Arab and international silence on the Israeli crimes in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

He added that Israel is benefiting from the Hamas takeover in Gaza to excuse more "humiliating attacks on Palestinians".

Khaled said, "Ehud Barak has returned once again to apply his defence, marked by the blood of Palestinians, after having been absent from the political scene in Israel. He has returned to exercise tyranny as the head of the Israeli Labour party."

He also said that Israel is taking advantage of the "shameful struggles between Palestinian parties".

Khaled urged Arab states to refuse all forms of normalization with the government of Israel and rebuff any meetings with the Israeli political leadership.
