The report revealed that most of the kidnapped boys and girls were subjected to beatings, torture and humiliation including a 16-year-old girl called Ayat el-Dababshe from Nuba town; in addition, 23 young women, who were kidnapped during Al-Aqsa Intifada, are still detained in Hasharon prison under inhumane conditions. The report also mentioned that 74 prisoners had been administratively detained for periods ranging from four to six months, in addition to 29 kidnapped patients medically neglected and harshly maltreated by Israeli prisons' administrations. The club's lawyer revealed that all the kidnapped citizens were subjected to violent and constant interrogations for long hours, in addition to insults offending their honor and attempts to extract confessions by force in a clear violation of human rights charters and Geneva conventions. Hebron governor calls for withdrawal of Israeli settlers from Palestinian homes near Ibrahimi Mosque Date: 04 / 07 / 2007 Time: 16:07 Hebron - Ma'an - Hebron governor Arif Al-Ja'abary has on Wednesday appealed to the international community to intervene in order to stop the domination of Israeli settlers over the Al-Ras area of central Hebron, near the Ibrahimi Mosque. In a statement received by Ma'an, Governor Al Ja'bary called for the withdrawal of settlers from a nearby Palestinian-owned building. The settlers have been supported by the presence of Israeli soldiers for some months. In addition to expressing concern that the presence of Israeli settlers infers a danger to local Palestinians, he condemned the occupying Israeli authorities for a series of killings of Palestinians, including those with no political affiliation. Al-Ja'abary concluded, "In all cases it was possible to avoid these events, however, these operations reflect the Israeli policy against Palestinian innocents and children".
