Israeli occupation army raids several areas in Hebron city in the southern West Bank

The Israeli occupation army carried out a wide-scale invasion of several areas in Hebron City in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Security sources reported to the Palestinian news agency WAFA that a policeman identified as Mo'taz Doufash was kidnapped in the old city of Hebron. Doufash were taken to unknown destination.

In Hebron and the nearby town of Halhoul, the Israeli army implemented a military operation designed to kidnap so-called "wanted Palestinians."

Prisoners' Society sources in Hebron reported that the Israeli army kidnapped two Palestinian civilians during the operation. The men were identified as Mo'taz Al Doudi, 18, from Halhoul, and Waseem Abu Amer, 19, from Hebron.

In the same operation, the army raided several areas in Hebron, among them, Yatta village, Tarqumia and Kharsa. No abductions were reported

Palestinian man is killed by Israeli settler bus

Bethlehem - Ma'an – 

A Palestinian man, Mahmoud Ibrahim Taqatqa, aged 38, from Umm Salamuna, southern Bethlehem, was killed on Tuesday when he was hit by an Israeli settler bus at the entrance to the village.

Head of the village council, Mahmoud Abu Rashid, told Ma'an that Taqatqa was en route to work when the bus ran him over. Abu Rashid added that the deceased was a father of nine.

Taqatqa was buried in the village cemetery on Tuesday at noon.

Following the deaths of Al Aqsa fighters in Gaza, Fatah vows to struggle against the occupation

Gaza – Ma'an – 

A leader of the Fateh movement, Dr Hazem Abu Shanab, announced that Fatah "will be struggling against the Israeli occupation, along with the other Palestinian fighters." Abu Shanab made the announcement following the funeral of Al Aqsa Brigades operatives in Al Maghazi refugee camp, in central Gaza.

The office of the Fatah spokesperson stated, "Fatah would never consider killing its own blood, we get our strength from the Palestinians streets, its blood loss weakens us. Therefore, we would never consider killing each other."

Those gathered at the funeral asserted that Fatah and its supporters will never bow down to the Israeli occupation. The mourners expressed their loyalty to Fateh and President Abbas.

Israeli soldiers close Za'atara checkpoint to Palestinians under the age of 35

Qalqilia – Ma'an – 

The Israeli occupation forces prohibited Palestinian citizens from Qalqilia district from passing through Za'atara checkpoint on Tuesday morning.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the soldiers stopped anyone under the age of 35 and, after checking their IDs, sent them back.

"The Israeli forces forced anyone under 35 to return," said one citizen, adding that "the soldiers said the measure would be for one day."

Israeli occupation forces launch widespread arrest campaign and seize 13 Palestinians

Bethlehem - Ma'an – 

The Israeli occupation forces launched a widespread arrest campaign on Tuesday morning, in which 13 Palestinian citizens were taken.

Israeli sources said that those arrested included several operatives from Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah, from several areas of the occupied Palestinian West Bank.

The Israeli sources reported that the Israeli military were targeted with gunfire in Jenin and Tulkarem. No casualties were reported in either case.

Israeli forces arrested four Palestinian men on Tuesday at dawn from Balata refugee camp, in the West Bank city of Nablus.

The arrests followed an early morning invasion of several Israeli military jeeps into the area.

Palestinian security sources revealed the names of those apprehended, "Ibraheem Fotoh, aged 35, Nimer Nasser, 18, Ashraf Sabe, 24, and Housam Kalbouna."

Hebron

Palestinian police sources revealed that the Israeli forces arrested a Palestinian policeman, Mo'taz Zayed Doafash, from the old city of Hebron on Tuesday morning. He was taken to an undisclosed destination.

The sources added that the Israeli military arrested two students, Mo'taz Khalid, aged 18, from Halhul, and Wasim Mohammad, 19, from Hebron, in the southern West Bank.

Huge Israeli contingent invades small Palestinian village and arrests three young men

Jenin - Ma'an – 

The Israeli occupation forces arrested three citizens from Ya'bad, southwestern Jenin, in the northern West Bank, on Tuesday morning.

Eyewitnesses informed Ma'an's correspondent that the Israeli forces stormed several Palestinian homes, including those of the men that were apprehended.

The forces took the arrestees to an undisclosed location.

Local sources told Ma'an's reporter that around 20 military vehicles, accompanied by Israeli intelligence cars, invaded the town from the eastern entrance and began raiding the local residences.

The homes of Mohammad Sami, aged 24, Ismael Adnan, 24, and Mohammad Abu Baker, 24, were ransacked before they were arrested. All three are Hamas members, according to local sources.

22 Palestinians died at Rafah Crossing over a month

Gaza – Ma'an – 22 Palestinians died at Rafah Crossing during the last month, whilst returning to the Gaza Strip from Egypt, the Palestinian ministry of health announced on Tuesday.

The ministry issued a statement saying that "the closure of the crossing was the cause of death for so many Palestinians, as it obstructs the passage of aid and people in need of medical treatment."
