Israeli occupation forces kidnap 16 in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 16 Palestinians in the West Bank on Wednesday morning claiming they are "wanted."

Israeli sources said that the arrests took place in areas around Ramallah, Bethlehem and Hebron, the sources confirmed that the detained Palestinians were transported to interrogation centers .

Two men arrested from Al-Sawawra village, east of Bethlehem

Bethlehem - Ma'an – 

On Wednesday at dawn, occupying Israeli military forces arrested two Palestinians from Al-Shawawra village, east of Bethlehem.

Security sources reported that many Israeli occupation military jeeps invaded the village, with troops breaking into several houses, and kidnapped two Palestinians. Fayeq Hamdan Al-Shawawra, 24, and his cousin, Tayseer Talab Al-Shawawra, 28, were both taken to an unknown location.

The brother of the arrested mean told Ma'an that Israeli occupation soldiers interrogated all those in the family home, before ransacking the house and destroying their property.

Journalist injured, three civilians kidnapped as army invades refugee camp near Ramallah

A massive Israeli force invaded Al-Jalazon refugee camp, north of the central West bank city of Ramallah, on Wednesday. During a search conducted by troops in the camp, three residents were kidnapped and one Palestinian journalist was injured.

Witnesses reported that Israeli troops and armored vehicles stormed the camp in the morning, with soldiers opening fire randomly at residents' homes and causing damage.

During the house-to-house search that followed, troops kidnapped Abd Amer, 29, Ala Abu Al Qassem, 24, and Ahamd Kharop, 25 and took them to unknown locations.

Jihad Nakhlah, a Palestinian journalist working for the Palestinian WAFA news agency, sustained light wounds in his leg when invading Israeli troops fired at him while he was covering the invasion, WAFA news reported.
