Palestinian toddler, Ibrahim Abu Nahil, dies on the border waiting for Israeli approval to enter hospital [ 27/08/2007 - 04:46 PM ] BEIT HANUN, (PIC)-- A one-year-old Palestinian toddler died at the Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing while waiting for Israeli approval to allow him and his father to enter one of the hospitals in 1948 occupied lands for treatment. Palestinian sources affirmed that the baby Ibrahim Abu Nahil had died in his father's arms after long hours of waiting at the crossing. The child who suffered a heart condition could not survive the heat and humidity at the crossing. The child and his father were among 100 Palestinians whom the Hebrew state allowed on Sunday to enter the 1948 lands for the first time since Hamas took over control of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, a Palestinian citizen succumbed to wounds on Monday in Khan Younis district after suffering serious wounds during the IOF incursion into Khuza'a east of Khan Younis city a few days ago. PIC correspondent reported that Samir Asfour was seriously injured when an IOF drone fired a missile at a vehicle grouping a number of resistance fighters that killed two of them on the spot and injured others including Asfour.
